Guardianship or Conservatorship

A guardianship or conservatorship may be necessary to protect an elderly or incapacitated adult.

A guardianship allows a person who is appointed by the Court to make personal and medical care decisions for an elderly or incapacitated adult.

A conservatorship allows a person who is appointed by the Court to manage the finances of an elderly or incapacitated adult.

Guardianships and Conservatorships may be necessary when an individual can no longer handle their own personal care decisions or manage their finances.

Asimou & Associates can represent a client to be appointed as guardian and/or conservator for his or her elderly or incapacitated friend or relative.

Asimou & Associates can also represent family members and/or friends of an elderly or  incapacitated person who already has a guardian and/or conservator appointed, but the family members suspect that the guardian and/or conservator is not discharging the duty of a guardian or conservator appropriately.
